Women and Sisterhood

Long ago, in a (Silicon) Valley far far away… I met Heidi.

We were deeply in disguise. Learning to survive in a Tech Bro world. Dressing in camouflage (nothing too feminine or flowy! Careful how you move, nothing too provocative!). Warily eyeing other women as uneasy allies, but also competition – for the guy, the relationship, the money, the promotion. YEARS of this conditioning. It’s a miracle we recognized each other at all.

Separate ways. Then, another miracle: Heidi found me again. Decades later, at dawn of our later life mutual transformation.

We softened. It was excruciating, peeling off the armor. Unfolding into new and unfamiliar ways, unraveling shame and disempowerment just for being women.

Mirrors for each other. Discovering our hips and wholeness, our full and open hearts. Vulnerability. Voice. Body wisdom. Intuition. POWER.

Still fierce and whip-smart, but learning to channel all that tornado energy. Melting the prison of extreme self reliance. Believing in and becoming a true ally. Someone strong and wise enough to hold in love. To soften and rest.

Learning to trust and value each other as intimately and devotedly and powerfully as the “real” relationships we had been taught to prioritize.

Our friendship evolves. We have had deep and devastating ruptures and repairs. We’ve learned to give each other space, and trust that we will find our way back again.

We have transformed. Me, into body healer and somatic mystic. Heidi, from hardcore rationalist Silicon Valley exec, into one of the most powerful Intuitive Guides I’ve ever seen. She’s f*cking magic.

Women, letting each other in. Accepting and receiving the power and gifts she offers. Trusting that she loves and values me, and mine.

Photoshoots with Lindsay are a whirlwind of transformational Witness power. Heidi came to cheer me on, track me like a loving hawk, and help me find myself again whenever I got wobbly from being so Seen.

Wild Witchy Women. Mirrors. You teach me how to love, every day. 🙏🏽💜💫🦹🏻‍♀️✨
